Alanya
Alanya village tour is a culture and nature tour that you will get to know the nomadic village culture and discover the other side of Alanya which is a busy tourist city.
Our first stop in our village tour is Alanya Terrace. The Alanya terrace with the 'I LOVE ALANYA' sign, which can be seen from everywhere, has a magnificent view from the high hill of the Taurus mountains, where you can see all Alanya town, the Mediterranean Sea, and Alanya castle.
Our next stop and our main range are Mahmut Seydi village. Mahmut Seydi village is an old settlement located in the north of Alanya and about 25 km away from the Alanya center. It is located in a forest-covered area and about 600 meters above sea level. The village name derives from Mahmut Seydi, who was a Saint who came from Khorasan. We will visit 800 years old Mahmut Seydi mosque which is the oldest mosque of the region in Mahmut Seydi village. The saint's tomb is also next to the mosque. You will observe the best examples of woodworking in the mosque. The natural landscape consisting of plant texture around the village is reflected in the material and decoration elements of the mosque.
Our second visit in this quiet and peaceful Mahmut Seydi village of the Taurus Mountains is to the old village house where we will get to know the village culture more closely. We will drink fresh sage tea of the hospitable peasants and watch the arts of the peasants dealing with handicrafts.
We will continue the Alanya village tour program from the narrow roads of the pine forests to the Gedevet plateau and have lunch in our picnic restaurant, which resembles the dimçay river in the mountain. We will finish our tour by the beautiful scenery of the Taurus mountains and drop you off at your hotel.
*Taurus mountain area is a little bit cooler than Alanya town weather. Please wear suitable clothes and comfortable shoes
